BREAKING NEWS: IT'S ALL A LIE
Reports are in that Mr Jamie Wolf, of Phoenix Firebirds Fastball Team, has been arrested for indiscretion within the local strip club. He was caught soliciting female adult entertainers and when being questioned by Police, Mr Wolf's only comment was that his boyfriend, Mr Finn, the current manager of Phoenix, must not hear about this as he will be in a lot of trouble.
Where Mr Wolf has been open about his apparent orientation... We are now lead to believe that this was all a lie and the team has only been playing an act to stand out. Will this affect the team... We think so... Will this affect the manager... We hope so!

"I for one am not a bit surprised, the handle bar moustache, fake police hat, string vest and leather waistcoat were fooling no one".

Depends how big the moustache is....it may make someone 'fall' and then he would be 'falling' someone

Raven’s lawyer : “ a spelling or grammatical error in an accusation discredits the prosecution and therefore discredits the accusation. On these grounds Mr Wolf will be dismissed of any wrong doing and name cleared”.
The well used Raven lawyer there once again getting someone off of a blatant accurate charge. He’s good!

Hi all, Please see below, a letter that was leaked to me this week via one of the referees from last weeks games...... The league have this information and are looking in to these accusations, very serious stuff
To, National Fastball League Commissioner Good evening to you mister Finn sir. My name is Sanchez Garcia and I was the match referee in today's game, Rogues 7 V Cavallino. I have been refereeing Fastball matches now for 35 years and though it grieves me to bring the sport into dispute I feel I must bring some concerns to your attention.
I have refereed 3 of the matches out of the last 9 games played this season in regards to "Rogues 7 " and have concerns to their overall behaviour, attitude and the way they have been playing. I am familiar also with the embarrassment of the history of allegations between "Fatal Formula", “Lethal Rage” and "Brutal Fury" and I'm sorry to say something seems very familiar in the way Rogues have been playing so far this season. The tactics Rogues 7 have been playing have been a combination of "passing" and "defence" yet the state of play has been somewhat aggressive in behaviour. Now I know injuries can happen yet Rogues team injuries over the last 9 weeks have been very serious injuries indeed for example....today Louie Baker injured for 7 weeks with a ruptured ligament ,1st match of the season saw 3 injured Rogues players out for 7-8 weeks being Simon_Moreno, Yodo_Kimiyama and Sef_Al_Sadat, I think just last week we saw Harry_Marasso and Ivo_Ludovenko fall to injuries which is a first time ever for those two players since being with Rogues....and none of these injuries occured as a result of bad challenges by opponents. I must admit I have some concerns about the taking of certain drugs that can make you overly aggressive in gameplay and feel there should be an inquiry into suspicion of drug-taking certainly in today's match against "Cavallino". Maybe a drugs test inquiry?
I suggest close inspection of watching some of the tackles that took place in today's match by Rogues 7 and feel you will agree that "ALL TACKLES NOT SOME" were aggressive, heavy, hard and also unnecessary for a passing tactic game played by Rogues today.
I am sorry to have to bring this concern to your attention sir but I have a love for this sport and just wish to see fairness and basically, a good clean game and I am not seeing this happening with Rogues attitude and the way they play at the moment,
Regards Sanchez Garcia Refereeing committee Blitz Fastball League sanchezgarcia65@bluewave.co.uk I will look into this matter and discipline Rogue 7 if necessary.

***BREAKING NEWS***
Most of the Rogue Seven first team squad have announced that they will refuse to play for the team again and are now officially on strike, citing the 'American influence' as the reason for the allegations that have recently been brought to light.
Not sure what the 'American influence' is but would guess it's to do with Ken Chappell, Brian Cranie and Jack Dunne? (perhaps bringing their 'dodgy' practices with them from Eastside)
...stay tuned for more updates.

Good evening viewer's Anna Kuzznobedoff reporting for ***MIDNIGHT NEWS***
In tonight's breaking new's a shocking announcement direct from the National Fastball League Commissioner Involving a letter apparently delivered
personally from the referee "Sanchez Garcia" from last week's game between ROGUES 7 vrs CAVALLINO actually accusing "Rogue's 7" of drug-taking and foul
play at this moment Mr "Garcia" has gone into hiding and was also unavailable for comment fearing his life to be in danger due to these so far alleged
allegations. Whilst no direct action from the Fastball Commissioner has been announced just yet due to investigations taking place, it could yet mean
Rogues 7 could be disqualified possibly giving the win to Cavallino instead.
I can tell you that almost half the team currently have gone on strike refusing to play thus also making for a very week team for this week's game
against Renegades in that Rogues look like THERE COACHES are going to have to step up and play this week.
As everyone who knows's this sport by now, in past history FASTBALL has seen problems before with drug-taking between team's for example "BRUTAL FURY,
SEPKO REJECTS and of coarse LEGION" who came under scrutiny before when accused and found to be taking performance-enhancing drug's.
What is also known is Rogue's have lately been struggling financialy and no longer even have a legal team to speak of there future looking bleak at best
right now...
Nobody from the Rogue's camp was available for comment at this moment in time...
This is ANNA KUZZNOBEDOFF FOR MIDNIGHT NEWS your friendly neighborhood blonde reporter signing off......
"Right guys we all done I'm bloody freezing out here in this carpark, Mcdonald's on me, I'll get a Pulitzer for this"

As in the case "NEVERWINTER vrs Mr Jamie Wolf,
“ a spelling or grammatical error in an accusation discredits the prosecution and therefore discredits the accusation. On these grounds ROGUE'S 7 will be
dismissed of any wrongdoing and name cleared FORTHWITH”.
“Yesterday is not ours to recover but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.”
Citizen's advise legal rep Garrick McAlister for Rogue's 7 or is it Rogue's 6 and a bit? I'm confused, GO, CRUSADERS,

Rumour is that Jens Votchro of Mean Machine is desperate to join the new 'revolution' at Rogues with Andre Iskobel going in the other direction, this is only rumour of course, but sources close to both teams suggest talks have already started. Elsewhere, Nighthawks bad-bay Lazarus Hunt posted a 'thumps-up' on his twitter account last night in reply to a very high octane tweet from Rogues new captain Ken Chappell in relation to the goings-on at Rogues which could suggest he is also ready to jump ship.
