We think a few of the team coaches need to go back to scholl and learn to read. As it was stated more than once the Wolverines were and expected to loose, after all they are almost holding up the rest of the division,
Yet they still managed to tar the ravens feathers last week and bring them crashing to the ground with a massive defeat. As to the wolverines left whimpering, Unlikely. They still on the high from last game and the ground staff are enjoying there new feather mops to clean up the mess of there opponents left last match.

Hmmm I sense a bitter tone........ well, I correct my statement then... wolverines are back where they should be, at the bottom of the pile/ list/ heap, whatever you want to call it.
And a saying that is most relevant within these sporting events is that you are only as good as your last game, and it is a poor man who clings to past successes so dearly.
Just saying ;-)

Funny dont seee the Wolverines ever at the bottom of the pile as you put it, just near the bottom. They have an excuse, one of the worst teams in league and worst income to buy players with. Whats the ravens excuse. as to beeing as good as your last game, Did you not get a ass whooping your last game. Just a thought. Ya i noticed i spelled school wrong after the fact but what the hell, got to give you something to pick at

Hello. This is the new editor of the Ravens Call and new manager of Raven fastball club. I have taken some familiar faces under my wing having found them on my doorstep in the pooring rain dispossessed by Vipers manager. So expect some new hatches here in the Ravens nest and many more puns! As I regurgatate some much needed food for my offspring be sure to keep one eye on the birds flying high soon. They might just poop on your head! Not yet though as we are still fairly rubbish

And so the first day for Ravens new manager draws to a close. All the feathers are safely tucked up in bed after a hard day not training, eating pizza sandwiches, drinking relentless (we get it free), thrning up to the gamewith Vipers in thier girlfriends underpants, loosing, giving each other stink eye and swapping each others toothpaste for that wierd cheese in a tube stuff. As the perpetual and sometimes hypothetical night draws in, only the melodious sound of night terrors from the Backstop can be heard. Goodnight Ravens.

This week we are inviting readers to ask questions to the Ravens new manager. No questions on his personal life will be answered but anything to do with running the club and fastball generally will be taken into account.

Trevor Latham was called to the new Ravens managers office today regarding his position in the discipline table. After a short diplomatic talk, Trevor got away with just 11 lashings from the cat and nine. We are all hoping he sleeps on his front tonight so as not to stick to the sheets. The whole team think the manager must have a soft spot for him. Only 11 lashings! In preparation for thursdays game against Severnside the team can be seen being towed behind boss's GMC. Keep up or get dragged along! It seems to be very effective at getting the team moving on these cold mornings but we are looking forward to getting the new trainers in Thursday.
Over and out

In fasball life jamie wolf has reported saying that training in the ravens team seems great fun, not the place for the pussies in neverwinter wanderers where the so called super stars ( laugh) live a pampered life.

The boss thanks Neverwinter for their greetings and looks forward to the first game between them. In regards to Jamie Wolfs longings for a Raven training day, the club has a list of targets and we can report Wolf is not on it.

Good evening Fastball fans and Raven supporters (both of you!) This is your manager speaking! Aka "the boss" (lower case boss as "Boss" could refer to Bruce Springstein). I hope you are all geared up for this weeks shenanigans in the fastball league. We here at the Raven club are highly anticipating some new arrivals come thursday depending on bids, on that note can anyone get Bulldog to reply to me!? You can all be rest assured the usual training has gone underway today with my fuel money being deducted from the players wages. At six o clock every saturday I have allowed the players some free time for two whole hours. They can use this time to clean the dormatary or wash their kits or even play some games like those rowdy ones with cards and things. I feel downtime is very important in a team. All this of course is done with candle light. We cant have electricity wasted on things like fun! Anyway, I have arranged a special treat for the team tomorrow, some time off as a team laying some bitumen roofing at the away stand at the wolverines ground. I feel we should support other clubs who can't afford to pay both maintenance and wages! And they do have a lot of wages! May you all have a positively average nights sleep and keep one eye on the Ravens call! Your faithful boss Ravens manager
