Breaking news!
Many thanks to all those involved with the changing of the stadium name. Firstly a big thank you to the fans for putting up with the old name for so long. You can now watch the Raven fastball team from the safety of The Roost

Good morning Raven fans! So the new week has started, more training underway today. The team are starting to realise we ain't gonna win any silverware playing like they used to. After a porridge breakfast and a half hour of cleaning up their boots the team was on the field by half seven this morning. Tackle practice this morning. In teams of four we have one player stood still with the ball. The other three run at him and are allowed to tackle by force. The object is to keep hold of the ball as long as possible and or get out of thetackles and run. A few minor bruises but good fun! Still no questions from fans. Maybe they can't read or write.

So, a win for the Ravens in their first league game under new management. A close game and only won by a knats testicle. Could this win be a sign of things to come? With a few new players the next game really is crucial. But the level is rising, soon the young ravens will need to fly by themselves to collect their food. And the nest is also getting a little crowded............

I'll believe that it is a sign of things to come when I see you win this weeks game..... oceans seems to think he is untouchable. If you play your team right and are able to win then I will be unbelievably, uncompromisingly, unequivocally impressed.

BOOM! Hopefully it will be a wash out.... although you are a bit wet behind the ears, you'll flap it off and the ocean may turn out to be a stream.

Water is always a force to be reckoned with, always unpredictable by its very nature weather its a stream or a tsunami! EVERY team that's come up against the "Ocean" knows this.... So if you want to have a little "sound off"....."Raven" that's fine, will be EAGERLY waiting for you on the pitch.......if your team turn up that is. OK PUPPY

Are we gonna pretend you meant to spell "whether" wrong for a rather fitting joke? Raven is us so no need for " ....." that. But I'm not here to teach you english. I respect your success quietly from a distance. The ocean can be powerful it's true. But the Raven is unpredictable. Even I don't have a clue what they're doing half the time. I mean, I've just looked out the office window and they're all trying to see how many players they can fit on a unicycle.

Tell them 24 players.... Viper gave it a shot earlier in the league... thats Coronado trying to fit in with everyone lol. Oceans, dont get too big headed from your results... where hot headedness is, steam will follow and then you will shrink to a pond once you begin to once again fall down the ladder it can happen to us all!

So, it has really begun! As you can see readers, a very intense week is ahead of us. We thank you here in the editing room for the imput our fans have written in with. It's like a CHAT room here! Its clear to see that Raven have their first real test against Oceans Seven next thursday. Will new team members earn thier wages? Will the manager choose right? Will there be a flash flood or a low swoop to the finish? Get your wings with the Ravens this week. Keep one eye on the Ravens Call and remember, "you don't wanna be doing that"!

A quiet start to the week for the Ravens so far. A good friendly game against Viper helped unveil some real issues inside the squad. For starters it doesnt help that Itrea has never been shown how to tie his laces. Its good to have taken him in now where he can be treated better. An evening of teaching the squad left and right is in store today and balls crossed ready to face Oceans on thursday. It will be tough, and the punishments for losing even tougher.

Good morning Raven fans! So here we are, the day before the big game against Oceans. I do hope you can both make it to the Roost tomorrow! The "real" trainers have been with the team this week, much to the teams relief! Actually learning stuff! We think we have sorted out the left/right issues of monday, but still cant get Itrea to tie his own laces. It will come in time. There is a lot to think about in the run up to this weeks match. It is apparent that our opposition are lacking some aggression but that doesnt seem to be stopping them winning matches! It does mean we will always get the last turkey in sainsburys but that doesnt help on the pitch. It is also obvious they are much happier in defence than us so hair pulling and ball grabbing is a must! Still, keep an eye on our wings! They can make the team fly!! Good luck Ravens
